What materials are your chews made out of?
ARK chews are made of high-quality, medical-grade elastomer (TPE). It’s a durable, long-lasting material that's not only safe, but also very common in everyday items like spatulas, teethers, toothbrushes, medical applications, etc. Here are a few other highlights about our chews:
- Made in the USA
- Manufactured by ARK personally in our own factory in Columbia, South Carolina
- Not formulated with phthalates, PVC, BPA, latex, lead, or heavy metals
- 100% virgin materials (no used materials or additives or fillers)
- 3rd party tested by Intertek (global leader in testing) to meet or exceed ASTM F963, EN71, REACH, heavy metals, and applicable CPSC requirements
- Additionally tested in-house for quality and durability
