How long do chew tools last?
This can really vary. For mild chewers, you may never see any signs of wear/tear. With intense chewing, a chew tool may last months or weeks or less, especially if it’s been a particularly stressful day (chewing often increases or decreases relative to one’s stress/anxiety levels).
All in all, how long a chew tool lasts mostly depends on the amount and intensity of the chewing.
Which chew tool you get can also play a role. As a general rule:
- Larger chew tools last longer than smaller ones
- Thicker chew tools last longer than thinner ones
- Wider chew tools last longer than more slender ones
- Tougher (XT or XXT) chew tools last longer than softer ones
